Water Cooling PC Stories!?

Hello. Danger Den has many fine water additives and non-conductive formulas as mentioned above. Thermaltake and many other well known brands have full water cooling kits available that make the job alot easier, although buying the parts separately from Danger Den will give you much better results. Its only worth spending the extra money water cooling your PC if you plan on overclocking, otherwise stay on air. I personally would not have it any other way, no way in hell I or anybody else could get close on air.4GHz, 32c stable. My 8800GTX OC2.

1. Why is this water cooling kit so cheap?

thats about how much a good one cost, thats not cheap. if it was 35 bucks, that would be cheap and an eye brow raise if you know what i mean. heh heh heh.

2. does anyone have an idea of how i can turn my laptop alienware 7700 into Water Cooling instead of air?

but it looks cool

3. Is condensation on the outside of a custom water cooling loop an issue?

The chances of condensation forming on your system are related to the would ew point' - the relationship between air humidity & temperature. You can look up the precise curve it forms on Wikipedia, or you can work on the simple rule of thumb that if your pipes are warmer than the ambient temperature & no condensation is forming on your case, then none will be forming on the pipes either

4. Why isn't there a non-conducting core wire for high-frequency coil applications

Induction Heating (Industrial) commonly uses hollow copper tubing for the inductor. When you are running 1000 kW or higher, you better believe the copper loss needs to be minimized. Additionally, the hollow core is used for water cooling. Sometimes the copper is called "hollow bar". It comes in rectangular or round. It is not uncommon to order a "mill run" to get the hollow bar and thickness desired. Image from luvata dot com

5. Do I require water cooling for this rig?

If you are not overclocking, there is no need for water cooling

6. Any good sites to find if water cooling your pc is worth the cost?

I dont know any but i remeber reading some where that water cooling is more affective and much more silenced but it is some how riskey since any leak could damage your pc and it is horrobly expensive ...but thats just what ive read

7. What types of fluids are there for water cooling a computer?

In the old days in radio stations to cool the tubes they used distilled water! Strangely pure water does not conduct electricity, it's the minerals dissolved in water that make it conduct

8. Water Cooling vs Air Cooling? Which is best for running games?

I just recently built my gaming rig and I also was thinking about water cooling and I decided to go with air cooling since I decided to go with a i5 6500 and I was not going to over clock the CPU. So in my opining if your getting a i7 k or i5k and your planning to over clock I recommend a water cooling. If not then go with a decent fan with cooper do not use stock fan.

9. Where can I buy a water cooling kit for my PC?

You probably do not need all that extra expensive stuff.6 ghz with a $60 Noctua air cooler Put the extra $$ into your video card

10. What is EKs best water cooling kit?

for my money I d go for the EK-KIT 240. A little pricey but S.O.L.I.D performances and goo build quality. If you want to know more on it or on how to install it, you can take a look at my video series (please make sure to get the right case too):

11. Newly converted PC GAMER help?

1. I am not sure about Battlefield 3 but I am 100% sure you will not be able to play Crysis on max settings. 2. You can not upgrade a laptop. It's simply not worth the hassle, trust me it's A LOT of work, and chances are in the end you can not upgrade your laptop anyways. You could upgrade the RAM but that's really it. 3. Overclocking is basically making your CPU/Video Card/RAM give you better performance. I have a Radeon HD 6850. I overclocked it to 940/1150, and now it runs even or better than a 6870. I really find there is no reason not to overclock unless your parts are running too hot. You save money and get better performance. 4. The only games you will need to pay to play are MMORPGs. You do not need to pay to play on PC, unless you are hosting a server. But you do not need to host a server as well. 5. Nope, a gaming computer can do anything a regular computer can. 6. Well there are 2 types of the "Cores": The first generation ones, and the second generation ones. The 2nd generation "Cores" are known as Sandy Bridge. If you are going to get a new computer, then you should try to get Sandy Bridge. The Core i3s are dual cores. The Core i5s are quad cores (however for the first generation Cores, the i5 655 and 650 are dual cores). The Core i7s are quad cores and hexacores. The best for gaming is the i5s. Again you should be getting the Sandy Bridge i5s, not the older ones. 7. A 'liquid gaming computer' just means that it is a PC that is water cooled. If you are not going to overclock or do some serious overclocking, then you do not need water cooling. Good fans beat cheap water coolers. I recommend you just build a desktop yourself. If you do not need the portability, just get a desktop, it is quieter, cheaper, cooler, and has better performance for the price.
